"Welcome to Tortuga Creations. I’m Philip Diaz, the founder and lead designer.
As a first-generation Australian with Spanish-German roots, I’ve always been captivated by the languages, cultures, and histories that shape our world. From my early days growing up, I’ve carried a deep love for street art, drawing, and technical design—alongside a lifelong obsession with basketball and cricket.
Tortuga Creations was built to merge those worlds. This is where meticulous historical research meets high-end digital design. Whether I am documenting the 50-year evolution of iconic sneaker culture in The GOAT Blueprint or meticulously mapping ancient warfare in Codex Legionvm, every piece in this archive is a tribute to the details that make history unforgettable.
Based out of my headquarters in Port Lincoln, South Australia, I create art for those who respect the history of the game—whichever game that may be."
